The Oldham County Health Department is the public health agency serving Oldham County, Kentucky. The agency’s primary goal is to offer all residents of Oldham County preventive health services, many of which are mandated or regulated by the state and federal government.

When our partnership first began, Oldham County Health Department (OCHD) wanted to increase efficiency in communication with their community at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. We worked with the agency to create a website that was accessible not only on various devices, but through website language translation and an accessibility tool.  We currently manage their website through on-going hosting and maintenance.

We also worked closely in providing comprehensive social media management and marketing services to OCHD. We currently deliver custom content creation, community management, and paid advertising helping OCHD raising awareness for a myriad of public health topics, issues of note, and specialized campaigns including the teen vaping epidemic, WIC benefits, flu vaccinations, and the COVID-19 pandemic.

Through our partnership, the new website and social media management/advertising have made public health information more readily available.  This has played a crucial role in dispersing information related to the COVID-19 pandemic and the role that the OCHD plays within the Oldham County community.
